Any full member may propose any person as a candidate for honorary membership where it is considered that the provision of honorary membership would benefit the club. The proposal must be in writing to the committee, giving relevant details of the candidate. Each proposal must be seconded by another full member of the club.
Proposals for honorary membership may initially be considered by the committee. Subject to committee consent and approval by the President, the candidate may be invited to join the club as an honorary member until the next general meeting. Subsequent membership is then subject to renomination and acceptance each 12 months by a general meeting.
